Pure Religion
April 23, 2009 – 12:56 amMy favorite verse in the whole of scripture would have to be James 1:27. It says, “Pure and Undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” There is a lot in that chunk of words, four particular parts. In March, I got the opportunity to preach at the college service again, so I spoke on this verse.
